Premium drinks producer White Heron Drinks has been recognised for its outstanding bottle design & branding at the World Drink Awards 2017. Following a complete rebrand of its premium liqueur, British Cassis in 2016, the brand won the Best Design award as well as three other awards for Best Duty Free, Best Standard and Best Technical Excellence. The awards were announced at a ceremony at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel, London on the 30th March 2017.
The World Drinks Awards are the global awards selecting the very best in all internationally recognised styles of drinks. Presented by TheDrinksReport.com, the World Drinks Awards select, reward and promote the world’s best drinks to consumers and trade across the globe.

The awards are a remarkable achievement for the brand’s relaunch following an appearance on Dragons’ Den in 2015. With three Dragons wanting to invest, the founder, Jo Hilditch decided to go it alone but took inspiration from their excitement in the brand. The new bottle design was created by Craig Mackinlay at Breeze Creative Design Consultants. Since the new design launched sales of British Cassis have increased 300% year on year.
