White Heron Brands is home to artisan liqueur, British Cassis, the product of blackcurrant farmer, Jo Hilditch.
How we helped: Consumer PR, trade PR, press office, product placement, graphic design, social media strategy and management, creative direction, event planning and photography.
We first launched a PR campaign for British Cassis in 2012, when Jo approached us wanting to broaden her brand awareness beyond Herefordshire, find new stockists and increase online sales.
Across a four-year period, we have obtained coverage for British Cassis in nearly all major titles, including mainstream media, food and drink titles and farming/country pursuits. The PR effort has been focused on seasonal gifting and diversification in farming. We have also supported the brand with a social media campaign that has generated interest from and ultimately relationships with new independent retailers, as well as building a loyal consumer following.
We have also worked closely with Jo to develop a new brand strategy for summer 2016 following an appearance on the BBC's Dragons' Den. This has seen a complete overhaul of the packaging design and a new sales and marketing direction appealing to major retailers, bars and restaurants.
