The Blackcurrant Foundation is an association of 35 British Blackcurrant growers.

The Blackcurrant Foundation was founded in 2005 to raise consumer awareness of this great British super fruit. Primarily growers for Ribena, the group manages between them over 2,000 hectares of blackcurrant fields across the British Isles, producing a crop of over 13,000 tonnes every year.

Our role…

Our role is to bridge the gap between Ribena and it’s 35 British blackcurrant growers and to support Ribena’s The Artistry of Blackcurrant campaign.

Our key objectives are to raise awareness of British blackcurrants and their many health benefits, build authenticity into Ribena’s bush to bottle story and to use the Foundation’s channels to drive interest in Ribena’s sustainability plans.

We combine traditional PR and digital comms to tell the real stories behind Britain’s best loved cordial brand, and year on year we significantly increase national awareness of and engagement with British Blackcurrants.
