Our Vision and Mission

Seed hopes to inspire brands to be a change for good.  By sharing stories about brands that create impact and change in our businesses, communities and world, we know the “be good” message will spread.

We use our expertise in marketing, branding, public relations, social media, digital/web and corporate social responsibility to help find a brand's purpose and story, both in messaging and visuals. At the heart of everything we do is the drive to create positive change.

Seed hopes to inspire others to join the movement and share their stories to create a groundswell of change for good. As an agency, we believe that business can and should be a force for change by finding social responsibility in the heart of all we do. The more brands authentically share their story about the change they are making, the more the "be good" influence will spread.

Ultimately, our goal is to use the influence of social media to create a more sustainable, equitable, and delicious future for all.

Our BCorp Mission

Seed is a certified B Corp organisation joining 2,000 Certified B Corps across 120 industries in 50 countries with one goal – to redefine success in business by being a force for good™.

Certified B Corporations meet higher standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Seed is in good company with other certified B Corps, including food brands like Innocent, Pukka herbs, Pip & Nut, Bol, and so many more– all of which helped inspire our agency to undergo the B Impact Assessment.

We recognise the importance of protecting the environment and will minimise the environmental impact of work practices carried out by us.

Transportation

We are a remote-first agency, so we minimise our travel to our rural office. The majority of our client meetings are held virtually and when on projects we try to carshare where possible as well as use public transport for trips further afield.

Reduce, Reuse & Recycle

As a food and drink agency, food waste is high on our agenda. We focus on planned buying, buying locally, using our freezers
to minimise waste, and anything that can't be saved is used to feed chickens whose eggs we use as well.

As a team, we encourage adopting better habits in our personal lives, and we recently introduced the Seed Swishrobe, which is
a clothes exchange that all of the team are welcome to participate in.

Suppliers

We will always prioritise working with suppliers and vendors who also have the same vision to be better as we do. Some examples are: Two Farmers, Fireheart coffee, Who gives a crap and Radnor.

Clients we serve

We aspire to have a roster of clients dedicated to leaving the planet better than they found it. For every client that joins us, we plant 100 trees to offset our setup meetings and will continue to look at how we offset our carbon usage in more ways in 2023.

Energy

We use green energy and we are also looking at how we will use green server hosting in 2023.

Charity & Community

Where we’ve donated

In 2023, our charitable efforts will focus on three areas: Supporting those who need food and shelter, supporting Women's well-being, and supporting mental wellness.

Where we’re active

We co-founded and run a community networking group for the creative sector in Herefordshire, The Hereford Herd. The group meets up every 6-8 weeks for an informal get-together where we encourage participation from higher education, local businesses, freelancers and anyone aspiring to move into the sector or who is looking for support and mentorship. On average, the events draw around 30-50 people each time, and this number is growing.
